I did have a birthday this past month and even though the dinner date that was planned with Jason never really happened I was able to have a very unexpected brunch with two very special friends! Nothing like last minute plans and friends that will do what they can to fit you in! Truely a highlight to a hard week!! Thank you Elissa and Shelley for meeting me for brunch on my birthday! I am so thankful that it worked out!

The visitation for Jason's grandmother was the night of my birhday and my wonderful husband planned (with my moms help) a surprise get together afterwards at his Aunt's house. His Aunt Debbie and Niki made me a beautiful flower arrangement (Aunt Debbie has always spoiled me with beautiful flowers)! Somehow we didn't get any pictures of that night. The boys were excited to have a "birthday party!" for mommy. Okay so they probably just wanted to balloons and cake but they were excited. Jason and my mom did a good job keeping it a secret too.
So it wasn't the way I thought I was going to spend my birthday but I couldn't have asked for a better Plan B! I got to visit with great friends and share my birthday with a lot of family!
