Okay....just had one of those moments that I really hope I don't forget, but Caden will probably wish I do!! It is almost 10:00 at night and I can hear Caden come out of his room and say "where are ya'll?" At least that is what I think he mumbled. He often gets up around this time to go to the bathroom (sometimes I know it and sometimes it is uneventful and I never know it). Because he said something my radar was paying closer attention and then I heard Blake's bedroom door open so I rushed out of my room to see what he was doing and to try and prevent him from waking up Blake. As I am coming out I think I also hear the light being switched on. I get up the stairs and Blake's bedroom door is open and the light is on and I am saying Caden's name trying to wake him from his sleep walk. I look into Blake's room and he is still sound asleep...thank goodness!! So, I turn his light back out and shut his door. Then I turn to the bathroom because that is where I hear Caden and as I step in I see him up on the step stool and proceeding to start peeing in the sink!!! Oh no...what to do now because this could get even messier than it already is!! I go to him and ask him if he can stop and just quickly move him in front of the potty. Luckily a bigger disaster was avoided and I only had to sanitize a little. Poor guy is totally unaware of what he is doing and will have no memory of it in the morning.
Anyone else have kids that sleep walk?? It is pretty funny after the fact. Cleaning a bathroom floor or the carpet in the bonus room at 10, 11 or 12 o'clock at night isn't much fun but the stories we will have ;)!!
On another note....I will post about Africa soon I hope. I am waiting on some other team members pictures and really just recovering from the trip, starting my night shifts, and some dental work I had done. I hope to do it soon though!!
