Impromptu outing!

As summer comes to an end so do Friday half days for Jason.  His company lets them work an extra hour each day and take off early on Friday's.  This will end in September but I sure do love it during the summer....at least when he has been able to do it. 


Earlier in August we took an impromptu trip to Rock Island State Park.  This place is beautiful!  I wish it wasn't such a drive.  The boys loved it!   Caden saw some teenage boys jumping from  high on the rocks into the water and was determined that he wanted to do the same thing.  We let him jump from some lower spots but not from way up....maybe another time.  Such a great escape and a great way to spend the afternoon!
