Mommy Moment

Since it is my little tiny space on here to share....I figured I would take a moment to just brag on my little boys.  We all have those mommy moments where we just are eat up with guilt with what we think we are doing wrong. (okay so maybe it is just me that has that guilt). I have those days where I am so over the constant whining or arguing with each other or with me.  Yet, when I look at the big picture I am so blessed and so thankful for the chance to love these little boys and to learn as I raise them. 

Today Blake wanted to paint a box he made at a Home Depot Workshop.  After he was done he still wanted to paint and he painted this picture....I thought it was too cute.  At first he said it was a monkey.  When I first looked at it that is exactly what I thought.  Then of course when I told him that and told him how much I liked it he said it was really a picture of me:).... gee thanks!!!  So not sure if he was just saying I look like a monkey but I still love that little guy!

School here has been an adjustment for Caden.  In TN he never said he didn't want to go to school but here he often says he wants to stay home or be signed out early:)  I have learned it is because his class here is more "structured" I guess.  He does a lot more writing and sitting and not as much moving from station to station.  I really like what I see of his class here and his teacher.  So even though he may not be thrilled to be going each day he still does a good job and has been given a few "caught being good" cards to bring home. i am proud of him.  I never had to move to a new school and I know he is only in Kindergarten but I am sure it is still not the easiest to come in mid year.
