T-ball

Does this little T-Ball player look excited or what?? He was ready!

T-Ball is here !!! Blake was so excited that he had his first T-ball practice tonight! We signed the boys up in TN but ended up having to withdraw because Caden broke his arm. So this is the first sports the boys have played. Caden's first practice will be Saturday. I hope it will be a fun season. When we got in the car to come home Blake said "I had fun!!" I did too...it is so fun watching them. I tried to take some pictures since Daddy had to be out of town for this practice but he plans to help with both the boys teams. (We only found out that he had practice yesterday and the practice was tonight).

First lesson was to learn where home plate is and where the other bases are and run around them:)

Then we learned how to "catch" the ball if it comes to us and to throw it to first base. The next picture he is picking up the ball...

Then he threw it to 1st base like he was supposed to!

These guys did really good for their first practice.  Let me just say that we are going to have to find a solution to the black gnats though because they were bad and it wasn't even warm tonight. All of the boys were scratching at the end of practice when they ran one more lap around the bases.  I am looking forward to Saturday to see him practice again and to see how Caden does.
