Cold, Cold, and more Cold!

Cold, cold, and more cold!  That has been our weather lately!  I must say my mental state has dealt with it better this year than last year though!  Last Saturday we decided to try out a place we had heard about called Monkey's Treehouse.  It was pretty crowded but still a nice outing for the morning.  I didn't get a great picture of the treehouses but they were pretty cool.  There are two treehouses with bridges connecting them and each one has a large slide coming down from them and you can climb all in them.  They had train tracks, an art area, a dressup area, an area with rubber mulch (instead of sand) for digging, etc.  One thing that amazes us is how the boys naturally gravitate to the train tables and cars.....HELLO, we have this at home!!

Here Blake is climbing up the rope in the middle of the treehouses...to the left is the red one and to the right was the blue one.
We found the dress up clothes near the end of our time there and Blake wanted to be Batman. (you can see one of the slides behind him and he is standing in the mulch area)
Here is Caden and his Superman Cape....here is is "trying to catch wind".  That is what he told us as he ran away:)

Daddy giving him some help flying!!! (by this time the crowds had slimmed down)

This is somewhere we may have to go again.  Maybe on a weekday and it will not be as crowded.  I could possibly even read a book or magazine while they played:)  Someone with money and a business mind really should open up a place like this in our town!

Man, Tennessee has so many more great things to do with the kids. I am jealous!

Loved your comment about the boys playing with things that they already have at home. My kids do that exact same thing! It's crazy.
