I was able to go Friday night to a "sleepover" with some ladies from the bible study I just finished. It was a time to just visit and close up the last 10 weeks. The next day several of us were attending a Beth Moore Simulcast at a church not far from here. I am so thankful that Jason agreed for me to go to both events and I didn't have to pick one.
The boys of course loved having all the daddy time!! They had a sleepover of their own:) Jason decided to let them both sleep with him but not so sure he woke up on Saturday thinking that was a good idea. Caden is a fine bed partner, but Blake just does better in his own bed with his own space. For starters he flips and flops all over. He will also wake up and if someone else is with him he tends to talk or lay all over you. The picture above is from their breakfast Saturday morning....Every boy needs lego space ships guarding their cheerios!
I wasn't feeling 100% Friday when I left for my girl time but really thought it was all due to allergies. I couldn't really talk but I really sounded much worse than I felt. We ended up staying up until 4 am talking....I do not know how on earth or why on earth I thought I could do this knowing I had to be up by 7 the next morning to get ready for the conference. It really wasn't bad at the moment but by Saturday afternoon I was realizing I couldn't hang!! I got home and had the worst headache and couldn't stop coughing and could barely talk. We all went to bed early and I slept hard! I ended up staying in bed most of the day today too feeling really bad. So really not so sure if it was all due to allergies or if something else was going on. By this afternoon I can talk much better and the cough is much more under control.
Regardless of how bad I have felt the past 24 hours the time I got to spend with new friends was great and the message I heard from Beth Moore was amazing!! Maybe I will try and post about it later.
