More Daddy Time

As mentioned before Caden spent several days in FL with his grandparents. This left Blake here in TN with mommy and daddy to get "all" the attention. I think he liked the attention but definitely missed Caden. On Saturday Jason had a huge pile of limbs to burn to prepare for our garden. Blake and I went out for a while but when we got home Blake was very eager to help daddy. It is so funny how he tried to do exactly what Jason was doing and is so persistent. If I remember correctly Caden would have helped but would have lost interest pretty quickly and moved on to playing with is cars. It was nice for Blake to be able to be daddy's shadow without the competition. Being the youngest and not totally understanding what is going on he gets left behind sometimes. He helped daddy with the fire, planting trees, watering trees, stacking wood, etc.

On another note it will be interesting to see how our garden turns out. Jason has planted his grape vines, apple trees, and cherry trees. Now that the pile is burned he can move on to the blueberries and blackberries. He also plans to do seasonal veggies such as corn, potatoes, peppers, onions, squash, peas, etc. I have never gardened and have a hard time keeping a house plant alive. I am sure I will keep you posted on how it all turns out.
