Blake enjoyed his Cupcake!
It was a busy weekend! My mom arrived on Wedn night and Jason's mom on Thursday evening and his dad on Friday morning! The boys were in overload! It was nice to have everyone here to celebrate with though. On Friday evening we had a small party for him and had our neighbors over. The boys love to play with Allie. Sometime before the party Blake realize he turned "2" so we had a few meltdowns during the party. He insisted to hold his balloon and of course he let go and it floated up to the ceiling which is 2 stories high. Daddy was the hero though with a ladder, an 8 foot stick and some tape....the balloon was rescued and all was well for a while. Blake had a lot of help opening presents and Caden has done a great job understanding that it is Blake's birthday and he has to ask Blake to share (it helps that he knows his birthday is next). Not to mention with Grandparents in town....Caden didn't come away empty handed! The one part of Blake's birthday that Caden isn't envious of is the Dr visit. Caden witnessed Blake's finger stick today and is very concerned that he will have to do that after his birthday. His stats at 2 years old are 32 pounds (93%) and 38 1/2 inches tall (off the charts...about the heighth of a 3 or 3 1/2 year old).
