Halloween

We had a great Halloween this year.  I never liked Halloween but I love watching how much fun the boys have.  Caden was so excited to be a police man.  We went to a Fall Festival at the church we have been going to and it was a blast.  They had so  much for the boys to do and oh my!! at the candy they got!  Jason's mom aka Mimi was able to be here and see the boys this year.  She has a conference this week near us so she came early.  It was nice to have an extra set of hands to keep up with everyone and everything.  You can go here to see all the pictures from the Spookfest that I posted about a few days ago and from the Fall festival.

At the festival they had several bouncies set up outside and a small bonfire.  Each Sunday school room inside had been transformed into a game of some sort (potato sack races, cup cake walk, go fish, soccer kick, t-ball, obstacle courses, etc etc etc).  The only incident of the night was that Blake got a little sick during the cup cake walk.  We thought it was because he had just eaten too much or that he was hot and over excited.  He kept saying "I all better, I sorry, it accident!"  Poor guy.  He truly was fine and didn't act sick at all.  Well, the fun of Halloween ended about 2:30 am on Sunday morning (and forget the extra hour of sleep we should have had).  Blake got really sick and was up every 30-45 mintues from 3-8 am.  Talk about a mommy feeling helpless.  He was such a trooper though!  No fever and after the last time of being sick at 8 am he was fine and ready to eat. A little pale but fine.  I am sooooo glad it didn't continue and that he didn't have a fever.  I haven't let myself get alarmed with all the flu talk but during the night that night when he couldn't stop I can say my mind was going there.

Enough of that though, we all had a great time and we have candy to last a very long time.  I know soon I will be begging Jason to take it to work and get rid of it.

Poor Blake, getting so sick like that. Thank goodness he was better by morning. Their costumes are so cute.

I LOVE the pumpkins you guys did. I'm so impressed. They look amazing!

I hate when the kids get sick. You feel like there is NOTHING you can do but comfort them.

Great to see you guys.
