The first weekend of October is the Ham Festival where we live. Our first year here we tried almost every festival we could find in the area just to stay busy and explore the area. We really enjoyed the Ham festival and didn't feel "broke" after. This is our 3rd Ham Festival!! The boys love the games that are at all the booths and all the stuff they win (candy, frisbees, balls, like I said....STUFF). I did win a free admission to Jump Zone!! (yipee!...fyi...it is a place with bouncy houses and will be great for the cold months). We went in the morning for a few hours and then went back that night in time for the fireworks which are really great for our town and it not being the 4th of July!!

This year one of the churches had an obstacle course set up as their game/booth. Caden was very excited about it and they do time the kids going through it. They had a board and they wrote the top 3 times for the age groups on it and after an hour if your name was still on the board you won an extra prize. Well....Caden won an extra prize! He was so excited and proud of himself! I can so see Caden on a track team!
