Two times a year they give free train rides at a local park for a few days. I usually take the boys during the week and we ride and play for the morning. This year I didn't realize it was going on and really wouldn't have looked forward to going ;) Last time we went the older men that own the trains and run them were a little grouchy!! I think they do the rides because it is the deal they have with the county park to have their tracks there. They are just expensive "toys" for these men to tinker with. The boys do love riding them though. I don't mind it that much but some of the trains are not the most comfortable :) .... A very think board that you have to sit on straddled in a very low squat position and trying to keep the boys still and feet on the train. I will say they have always done well though.

Anyway, back to the point of the post.....This past Saturday Jason offered to take the boys and I very willingly agreed! They went for the morning and wore themselves out. I think they rode twice...you do have to wait in line and it can get pretty long. I am surprised that Jason was able to get the videos and pics he got....they are very strict about Camera use on the train but he held it on his knee and they didn't know I guess. The boys ran and walked all over that park that day.

I even enjoyed my time that I had. I was able to exercise and stop at a few yard sales and get a head start of some weekend chores!
