Halloween.....Finally

Finally getting the pics up from Halloween. The boys have been waiting for weeks for the Fall Festival and asked every day when it was going to be. I think I was looking forward to it about as much as they were :) It is just fun to see them dressed up and having so much fun playing the games in each room. The church does an amazing job and it is a huge event! The amount of candy they end up with at the end of the night is unreal! My mom was able to witness first hand that you do not want to give Blake too much chocolate. I am not sure that I have ever seen him that "high" on sugar....he couldn't stop talking and moving!!

We knew the boys were going to be Superman and Batman for a while due to their obsession with them a few months back when they wore their capes and shirts everywhere we went. We joke that daddy is Green Lantern and the boys dubbed me Wonder Woman (ha ha)! I knew there was no way I would wear a Wonder Woman costume....so we did the next best thing....Daddy and I ordered t-shirts. It was a lot of fun and the boys liked it. Daddy even put some paint on his face and we sprayed Caden's hair black....funny thing is he has a cowlick that gives him a little curl like Superman has.

Here are a few pictures of the boys playing some of the games.  Caden's favorites are the ones with races!  They also had fishing games, soccer, cupcake walk, balloon dart, etc...They also had several different types of bouncy houses for the kids to enjoy.

CRAZY!!!  The amount of Candy you leave with is more than I ever go trick or treating!!  By the end of the festival they are giving it away by the handfuls.  The boys would still try to take one or two pieces and the helpers would get a handful and dump it in their bag:)  I am ashamed to admit it didn't take me long to put a dent in the chocolate.  Favorites of theirs this year would probably be nerds.  We still have lots left and I even sent some to Jason's office.

These last two pictures are extras we had of Blake and Caden that I thought were cute....they were from the first night we dressed up for a small trunk or treat at the boys school!

I added the October Album to our Shutterfly site!
