Just a Start

This is just the first of the Halloween activities and pictures! Trying to get updated:)

The rec center we are a member of has a thing called Spookfest and we took the boys last year.  They remembered it and saw the signs for this year and really wanted to go.  I probably wouldn't have gone back this year but they wanted to and it was something to do.  This years was a little more fun for one I knew not to have high expectations and we had friends that we saw there.  

Each room at the center was decorated and the boys got to go around and get treats.  They also had a pumpkin painting room and a cupcake walk.  In the gym they had games set up for them to play and win little prizes.

They also had costume contests and a "scariest scream" contest.  We are VERY proud to say that Caden has the scariest scream out of about 75 kids (at least).  Otherwise known as the LOUDEST!  I shared this information with my cousin and she tried to be nice but it came out that what she wanted to say was that he had gotten it honestly:)  I guess I cannot deny it....I was always a screamer as a kid....I think I outgrew it though...ha ha!  Regardless he was SUPER proud and he won a Walmart Gift Card so there are some benefits to having a "scary scream"!

The night ends with a balloon drop and everyone scrambles to pop the balloons.  They are filled with coupons.  We have about 20 free ice cream cones from Sonic coupons if anyone wants to join us:)
