So last year and this year the boys have gotten a phone call from "Santa" on Christmas Eve. We coordinate with him and he calls right before bed. Next year "Santa" is going to have to practice his "Santa" voice because one little boy will probably figure it out. This was so funny to watch and I am so glad I captured some on camera. The best part I missed because I was laughing so hard but Jason was able to capture it on our main video camera. If I knew how I would put it on here.
Both boys talked with Santa and Santa told them what they needed to work on. Blake was excited and was trying to tell Santa what he had gotten already (the boys exchanged gifts). Caden was whispering to Blake to remind Santa of what he had asked for. It was too funny!! I cannot pick which video clips to put up so you can choose to listen to them all or just some!!

So these are in the order of the conversation. The funniest thing happened right after the last video. They had just told Santa that they had to go and our heater kicked on and made a noise over near our door....Blake turned and looked....dropped the phone and both the boys jumped down from the chairs they were standing on and ran as fast as they could up the stairs squeeling. Caden had dropped something on the stair and Blake almost jumped over him to get up the stairs. They ran into the room where my dad was and with eyes as big as saucers Blake started jumping and saying "Santa is here, Santa is here!" He then turned and ran back out and both boys jumped into Caden's bed and sat there in the dark trying to figure out what they needed to do!! It was awesome!! They went to bed without any problem knowing that "Santa" wouldn't stop if they weren't asleep:)

That is awesome! Too funny that they thought Santa had arrived--I can remember one year when I thought I heard jingle bells outside and I can remember laying in bed soooo excited and not wanting to move in case Santa realized I was awake!
Lea, these are hilarious!! Blake whispering "it must be the bat cave" and making sure he told Santa "i pee in the potty" were my favorites. Glad you guys had a nice Christmas!!
So cute! The magic of Santa is so much fun!
