This trip home to FL has been different than I expected! We have had some fun times but I guess it just hasn't been exactly what I had imagined. We have made some great memories though. This 4th of July was really good for one. We haven't had a 4th of July home since we moved to TN and we were able to spend it with lots of family and at the beach!! The boys played hard with cousins and I was able to visit with cousins and Aunts and Uncles. The only one missing was Daddy.... he had to head back to TN for work. He was able to work from FL the first week but that time had to come to an end.
Warning.... the below picture of Blake is probably one only a mother can love but I just laugh when I see it. I am not sure what to even say he looks like here. The wind was blowing his hair and the humidity had it curling all over and the "cheese" smile!! Love it!

Looks like fun! I remember chasing sand crabs--those things are fast!
I wish I had known y'all were going to be in Florida--we went to B-town for the weekend (although we were there less than 48 hours). I wish we were a little closer to home, too; those long car rides with kids are an ordeal.
One of these days we need to try and see if our visits coordinate. Would love to visit and have the kids play. I know how it is though when your time is limited and you are trying to fit in so much family time. The car rides are NO fun....Blake has started asking if we can fly because it just takes too long :)
