If you tell Caden he can earn some money he is all over it!!! If he finds a penny or dime or quarter lying around he WILL pocket it :) Of course he like dollars too but we don't leave those lying around!!
Well, Papa told them that if they helped pick up pine cones they could earn money. So while daddy and Papa sat on the porch the boys got to work! They did pretty well I think.
Caden came walking up like the below picture..... Guess he decided if he attached some to his shirt that was even more money since his bucket was full!
They have to make sure they get the BIG pine cones! Then they bring their buckets up and Papa would count them and keep up with how much he owes them. Caden was ready to head out again and earn more money the next day after we had some wind and rain....he figured there would be more pine cones which of course = more money!!
We had also done some work around my moms house with cutting up some fallen limbs (well Jason did that part) we just helped carry off the small limbs and stacking the wood. Blake is funny because he is always very eager to help. Caden did better this time though since he was told he could earn money. Blake tried (Bless his heart) and he wanted to earn money but he just kept whining that "it is just too hot". At one point he said "I want to earn money, but I want to earn money sitting in the truck". Don't we all Blake!!
