One tooth down!

Caden has had a loose tooth now for a long time.  I am not even sure when we noticed it was loose.  We kept telling him to work on it and he said he was but it just stayed put.  I worried it would fall out while we weren't there and he was in FL....luckily that didn't happen.  The last night we were there it was VERY loose and I was worried it may fall out during the night and he would swallow it.... and I didn't plan to try and "find" it if that happened!  We kept trying to get him to just let us pull it....it was barely in there and you could see the other tooth already.  Caden said he didn't want to "jank" it out... I think he wasn't sure if he should say jerk or yank so it became "jank".
Papa being the trickster he is tried to push it when Caden let him look but for "some reason" Caden didn't trust Papa;) I was looking at it and one time I asked him if I could wiggle it.... he said yes and I wiggled/pushed it one good time and I felt it give so I moved my hand out really fast so the tooth was still in his mouth and he could realize what happened :) It surprised both of us  I think!  I should have warned Jason because we didn't get the actual moment on video.

Here he is still in shock I think and very tired :)

Trying to post some videos from the night of us trying to convince him to pull it and right after it was pulled but having some difficulties... (anytime there is a video of me that I watch I often wonder why I just don't keep my mouth closed and not talk.... I will post it anway:)

I still remember when Caden's first tooth appeared when he was 11 months old.... so cute!  It is so hard to believe he is already old enough to lose them.

I love Blake's helpful comments, "That's the blood!" Will gets nervous about bleeding his own blood, too, but he would be mighty jealous about that lost tooth. He's been wiggling and wiggling his but none of them are the least bit loose. So yay for Caden--maybe he'll pull his own tooth next time. :-)
