Spring Break

Caden had Spring Break the week after Easter and the boys were able to spend part of that week in FL.  On Monday I met my mom and they spent a couple of days with my parents and then the rest of the time was with Jason's parents.  I was able to enjoy a day shopping at the outlets in Hilton Head with two girlfriends and two date nights with Jason!  The main date night Jason planned on his own and took me to Vic's on the River for dinner (mmmm it was good...not in accordance with my diet, but good!) and then to the Savannah Theater for a show.  It was great!  The show he did totally for me too because I have only hinted several times how much I love musicals and how much I would love to go to a show there.  However, I do think he enjoyed this one:)
On Thursday Jason and I headed to FL and we stopped in Tallahassee where he was going to leave me to help with my dad. My dad had surgery that day and I am so glad we are closer now so that it was so much easier for me to be able to be there and spend a few days taking all the load off of my mom.  This gave Jason some time to go hang out with his parents and the boys.... doing boy things:)

They spent  A LOT of time at the creek!!  Papa has done a lot of work cleaning out an area for all of the kids to be able to enjoy the creek. Let me say this water is WAY too cold for me!

Caden doesn't mind the cold water. He never really has minded the cold water.  He always says "you get used to it" as his lips are blue!

I really am surprised that Blake gets in because he doesn't like cold water!! Of course I wasn't there and he probably wasn't given much of a choice and could have been splashed or coerced in by Papa or daddy.

They had a great time and made great memories.  I am glad that they have grandparents that love to see them and are willing to keep them for us to recharge.

To be Continued tomorrow hopefully.... it is just too late for more posts tonight :) Trying to catch you up on lost teeth and more T-ball!

How cute! I hope he cleared the alligators out of that creek. :-)
