Another outing

The very cool slide at the Discovery Center that Caden probably went down 20 times.

I cannot remember exactly what was here but the rocks were the biggest hit. I think it had reptiles and things mixed in.

Of Course the train tables...good thing they had several of them. The boys found one first thing and we had to convince them there were other things they may want to see. The last picture is of Blake at the Farmer's market...he enjoyed the cash register. I am not sure if he liked it more or trying to sample the tomato, corn, and strawberries.

On Saturday we took the boys to the Discovery Center in Murfreesboro, TN. This was much better than the science center downtown. It was just more age appropriate for the boys. We spent three hours there and were all worn out when we left. The Center is geared for younger kids and is all hands on and not alot of descriptions. They had several train tables that our boys wanted to stay at (Jason and I kept saying we have this at home, why don't they play with something else). They had blocks and a demonstration on how we use water for all sorts of things....Blake just wanted to use the boat to drink the water (NASTY!!). Outside there were trails and a play area. This is somewhere we would go back to and it wasn't too expensive. As the boys get older I will enjoy teaching them about things when we visit. This time Caden learned about Mallards and that the boys are the ones with the pretty green heads:) The other really cool thing was they had a slide that went from the upstairs to the downstairs....all 3 boys loved that!

Wow, you have really been able to find some great places to take your kids! We went to a place similar to that up in South Caroline, but I haven't been able to find something like that here in Jacksonville. I really wish there was though.
