So we have been trying to fit in visits to a lot of places we haven't been able to make it to while living in TN. Fall Creek Falls was on the list. It would have been nice to have camped here at some point but for now a couple hour visit will have to do. It is a good 2 1/2 hour drive from our house. The weather was beautiful!! The falls would have been more impressive in the fall or spring after more rainfall in the area. Everything has been very dry around here. When we first arrived we just walked around and checked out the nature center and decided where we may want to let the boys swim.
The boys also really like the suspension bridge. I didn't walk over it the first time but I did end up walking it before we left. These kinds of things really weird me out :) At least with this one they do have a 6 person limit on the bridge at a time.
The highlight for them I think was the swim hole. Blake did end up getting in (he isn't a fan of cold water....he gets it honestly...I never did get in!) Caden jumps in and is a fish the entire time we are there.
Fall Creek Falls itself! We didn't have time to hike to the bottom of it, maybe next time!
