Birthday Boy

June 3rd was Jason's birthday. We had planned to go to Downtown Savannah and eat at a place he knew he could get a free lunch on your birthday.  It is a barbecue place he likes.  Guess what....it is closed on Sundays! So plan B was to try a place closer to home that we had been wanting to try....guess what...closed on Sunday's!  Plan C.... just go downtown and wing it!

The weather was great that day.  We knew we wanted to go somewhere that we could just sit outside and visit and enjoy the view.  We chose Tubby's on the River (I think) and we sat outside on the balcony and it was perfect.  It was a great day celebrating Jason!

We walked around some after this and watched as many different ships went by.  One Tall ship came in and docked... The Peacemaker.  It is from here and often docks and allows tours while it is in port.  They didn't open for tours this day but they did later and we were able to go walk on it.

We also drooled over this yacht and hoped that we could even manage to have one of these in our dreams!

Of course it isn't a birthday with out some cake so we went to Six Pence and split a dessert.
