A Rose and Dinner :)

Jason came home from work with a rose for me:) I remember when we first got married and we lived in the trailer park (no I am not making that up!!) I would often get a single rose from him.  There was a guy that would set up at the end of our road and sale roses (we were near the airport as well so he probably did pretty well for himself) and Jason would have to drive past him and I often benefited.  He knows I do not like him spending a lot on flowers but just a single rose once in a while for no real reason is very sweet!

He also took me out for a nice dinner that night!! We ate at a place called Marker 107 that we had heard great things about and let me say they were right!  This ranks as one of my favorites so far!!  I have been counting calories since January so often when we go out I try to stick with my limits and it has made many date nights or resturaunt visits not as exciting for me.  I didn't exactly stick with it this night but I didn't totally blow it either.... until dessert:) I had the special of Alaskan Salmon topped with crab meat, cheese grits, and broccoli.  Let me tell you I wasn't disappointed in ANY of it....even the broccoli :)! I doubt many of my readers will be in our area (except possibly family) but if you are I would say this place is a must! The view is great too and you can sit on the screened porch or inside.  After dinner we walked down on the dock and we got to see dolphins swim by!  It was a very nice night!

This was basically our Anniversary date even though it was a couple days early. Celebrating 14 years of marriage!!
