"borrowed"

Okay all you moms out there that read my blog. Here is an idea a friend of mine from here gave me to do with the boys. Homemade Lacing cards! I read her blog while the boys were napping and then made my cards before they woke up. We haven't used them yet but I am looking forward to seeing what they think of them (the sun was out this afternoon so we had to seize that moment). Anyway, she suggested finding boxes from cereal, juice, crackers, crayons, whatever. Cut the box into a shape or cut around a picture and punch holes around the edges. Attach a piece of yarn to the box and tape off the end of the yard....TAAADAAAA!!! Homemade lacing cards. Your kids could help make them if you would like. I will let you know how it works out for us.

If any of you moms out there have other ideas of things to do with your kids please share. I often feel that Caden (especially) doesn't get enough structured activity. Maybe this will be a good idea for some of ya'll too.

I love that idea, I think we'll give it a try. (Anything that'll keep Will occupied for at least 5 minutes is a winner by me!)

This site has a lot of easy crafts that are ususally cut and paste that the kids can do.

Familyfun.com has more projects that involve mom too.

We love doing crafts. I try to do atleast one thing a week and just let Tanner paint a least once a week too!
