Spookfest

Last Saturday we took the boys to an event called Spookfest at the rec center.  It was neat to be able to dress them up early and see how excited they were about it.  This way it isn't all on one night.  The event was pretty small and good for their age.  They had an area where you could paint a pumpkin, a cup cake walk, and each room had a themed door and gave out candy. They also had a few carnival type games set up in the gym.  The night ended with a balloon drop.  I had no idea what the big deal was with the balloon drop until they dropped them and everyone started scrambling to pop them....this went on for several moments before I realized the balloons had coupons in them.  There were coupons for Sonic for free ice cream cones, free med size tater tots, and free cherry limeade.  Blake really just wanted to save the balloons:)  The boys had a really good time and even though their costumes are simple I thought they were cute! So here is a preview for Halloween.  (I will post pics from spookfest in the same album as I do Halloween).
