Sunday Family Fun

Last Sunday after church we decided to take a trip to Gentry Farm's.  It was alot of fun for everyone and a beautiful day!!  This is a large working farm in a nearby town and the house on it dates back to around the civil war.  Such beautiful farm land.  They had so much set up to do.  They had a huge corn maze and a petting area with animals.  They had an old cabin set up with an outhouse.  They  had a barn that was a hay maze for the kids with a few slides in it and a tunnel.  They had another barn that had a grocery store play area, market play area, kitchen, an "I spy" game, tractors to push around, lincoln logs, etc.  Another play area was troughs with corn and wheat in them for them to shovel and funnel and put in bottles.  Tons of things to do.  They also had a trail that lead down to the river.  We were able to enjoy a tractor ride around the property and hear a little more about the history of the farm.  It was a great day and everyone left there tired.  We knew we would be missing naptime and figured they could nap in the car on the way home.....they did and when we got home we put them in our bed for just a little longer......

True sign of a good day of church and family fun!
