Discovery Lane Graduation

We survived this year of preschool!!  Pretty bad that my 4 year old was very excited about his last day of school because they "didn't have to do any work".  Now don't get me wrong, I too remember being excited about those days, but at 4??  It was so cute to see him so excited about his graduation.  I bought him a belt to wear (they said Sunday best so I figured that meant a tucked in shirt) and he was so proud of his belt.  It's the small things.

I just love his smile in the next picture as he sees all of sitting there watching him.  He was so proud!
As you can also see....so much for buying a belt and tucking in his shirt.  We left him with is class and as they began walking in I saw him with his shirt all untucked.....oh well :)

Getting his Certificate from Discovery Lane School.  Technically it is preschool graduation but Caden will be going to preschool next year too (just at another school).  We have prayed and talked about sending him on to Kindergarten or not and just think he would benefit from a little more time.  I continue to pray this is the right decision.

Caden and one of the little boys he talked about the most...Trent

Caden and his teachers Mrs. Kelly and Mrs. Dawn

Caden and another good friend Grace.  She is such a sweet little girl.
Of course the last pictures are of us.  Had to bribe him for the rest of these.  I cannot believe he is getting so big and that we are making these small milestones. When asked what he wanted to be when he grew up he told them "a singer".  I have no idea where that came from.  When I asked him he said he wanted to be "superman!"
We love you Caden and are very proud of all you have learned this year!

Such a big, big boy now!!! Great job following your gut to give him more time before kindergarten. I didn't start "officially" homeschooling Prewitt until he was almost 6 and I can say the maturity he gained between 5 and 6 years of age was significant and made learning all that much easier for him (and me).
