12 years!

June 13th was our 12 year wedding anniversary!  It was so nice to actually be together for this anniversary.  For many years Jason's 2 week training (and his deployment) kept him away and then last year my trip to FL fell at that time.  This year we were in FL also but he was able to be with us for the weekend.  We spent our actual anniversary with the boys and my brother kayaking and canoing.  It was a great day.  The next day my mom watched the boys so we could have a date night.  We were both very tired from an eventful weekend but we so enjoyed the time away.  We drove to Panama City Beach where many dates were when we were in High school.  We had a nice dinner and sat on the beach and talked!  It was wonderful and so fun thinking back on all the memories....our first kiss was at the beach:) 

You always hear people say how wonderful things are and how they would do it again.  I would totally do it again!!  I am very blessed and lucky to have married my best friend and someone who knows me so well and for so long.  However, I would  never want to lead anyone to believe it is perfect and without its ups and downs.  It is hard work and a commitment.  Like my mom always said you always "love" them but you will not always "like" them.  I know I am not always likeable but thank GOD Jason has loved me anyway! I look forward to seeing where we are 12 years from now!
