When living in FL Jason and I loved to go canoing and kayaking on some of the local rivers and creeks. We have taken Caden when he was much smaller and he doesn't have any memories of it really but we haven't taken both the boys. We decided to try it while home visiting this time. Spring Creek is a great one to try because the water is so clear and shallow and there are plenty of opportunities for them to get out and play. They loved it! Blake is focused on riding in the boat and helping paddle and Caden is focused on swimming and getting in the water. At one point we had both of them in their life jackets with a rope tied to it and they were floating behind the boat. It was a very good day!
This is Blake with Uncle Paul. He liked being in the Kayak because he could use the paddle.
There were two swings along the creek and we spent a lot of time playing on those. Caden loved it and all the people there were impressed at the "little guy" swinging. Blake had no interest in trying the swings
Will try and get a video posted as soon as Blake gets distracted and will stop climbing on me and trying to punch buttons on the keyboard! In case you wondered this is why the blog isn't always updated promptly!
