Visitors

Ome and Uncle Paul came up for a visit.  It was so nice to have them around.  Luckily the weather improved some so we weren't stuck inside the whole time.  It was nice to just have the extra set of hands and adult conversation during the days that Jason was working.  Jason and I were able to escape for dinner one night at a little place we have really grown to like.  It is a small town grocery store (more like convenience store) that has bands come play and on Thursday nights they have open mike night and a Shrimp Boil.  This was only our second time going but we really enjoyed it.  Another not so excited outing was getting my CPR recertified.  It was nice to feel like a nurse again.

We also were able to go to a Predators (Hockey) game.  That was a lot of fun!  Paul was able to get the tickets for less because it was military night.  It was nice to be able to hang out with mom and Paul and get out and do things with them.  Of course it probably had the opposite effect on Paul and helped him realize even more how much he enjoys his quiet appartment and adventerous lifestyle :)

The boys loved playing with Uncle Paul.  They were given nerf swords for Christmas.  Uncle Paul decided to go buy an even bigger sword so he could spar with them and defend himself.  They loved it and hoped he would "forget" the sword here so they could keep it.  He didn't forget it though.

Lots of memories were made and good times had.  This goodbye was one of the hardest I have had since we moved.  I will try and post some videos of the sword fights soon and I have some cute videos of the boys singing.
