Snow Days
I know it is a little late but I thought I would share with all of you some other pics we took of the boys enjoying the snow. School was cancelled for Friday so I kept our neighbors Emma and Lilly all day. You may see them in some of the pictures. It helped keep the boys entertained since I didn't need to leave the house with icy roads. The snow lasted much of the day on Friday but was pretty much melted by Saturday afternoon. You can still see patches in some places as you drive but it is mainly a memory now. However....more extreme cold temps are coming...not sure how I feel about that. While playing in the snow it really didn't feel that cold even though it was only 40 degrees but it was the first 2 days of sunshine we have had and no wind. So Cari....if you have 70 degree weather when you are up here in TN for your visit over Christmas...it will be a heat wave and I will be very jealous!!
Things I learned:
1. The boys need puddle boots for the rain and the snow. Caden's socks were soaked.
2. I would love a mud room to disrobe everyone.
3. Cardboard boxes, garbage can lids, etc don't always work as sleds and we need to purchase one before the next snow.
