Home!!

We had a great trip home for Thanksgiving and are glad to be back for a few weeks in our own "home".

We stayed very busy our 10 days home. The boys didn't do that bad with the trip down...just not exactly as we had planned. We spent Thanksgiving with Jason's family and we spent Friday with my extended family. Our new tradition with my moms family is to do our Christmas on Friday so it is always fun to see everyone. I hope to have a good family picture to post soon. Saturday we had some of my dad's family over for lunch and it was nice to visit and catch up with them also. Then, off to my niece Catherine's first Birthday party. Sunday was church with my mom, saying goodbye to Paul, and back to Clarksville for the afternoon with Jason's family. Needless to say a lot of stuff packed into just the first part of our trip. It was very nice to be back in FL though.

Jason worked out of Tallahassee the week after Thanksgiving and we hung out. Jason's dad had surgery on Tuesday and we are very thankful that everything went well. He is recovering well so far and we pray that it will continue to go smoothly. Thanks for all who were praying!!

I will say some of my favorite points (aside from family time) was my visit to Tallahassee. My mom was kind enough to watch the boys for me so I could have lunch with some friends and shop. Sad I have to return to Tallahassee to shop when Nashville has so much to offer, but the babysitter was in FL. It was a strange feeling to drive to Tallahassee. I guess because it is what I miss the most. I greatly enjoyed my lunch with Elissa, Brielle, Erin and Becky (you are the best Elissa for planning this). I also was lucky enough to have another great friend (and support) meet me at the mall to shop....love you Shelly!! I also got to meet Baby Caroline and snuggle her. She is precious Kristi!!

Well, now that I have bored you with my detailed trip to FL we made it home safely. It was a late night for us but I would have to say probably one of the easiest trips I have done with Blake.

It is always hard to leave but TN is slowly starting to feel like home. I miss the FL warmth especially when it is 20 degrees outside.

Thank you everyone who made it such a great trip home. Thank you to our families who put up with the chaos our two little ones bring with them. Thanks to my dad who helped me not have tons of laundry to do when we got home!! We will see you all again in just a few weeks!
