True Friend

I have learned how priceless it is to have good friends. I have had many friends come and go in life. Some have been some hard lessons and others true blessings. My friend Kara is a true blessing. For any of you who do not know the story of how I met Kara....

The week Jason was leaving Tallahasse to be deployed to Iraq he introduced me to a few wives of some of the other guys and Kara was one of them. Through the next month of going to see our husbands before they left we grew to know each other and I can say there is NO way I would have survived that year without her and her little guy Gage. We talked daily and visited weekly if we could. We vacationed together and just were each others support. God is awesome in knowing what you need when. After our men returned we didn't get to see each other as often and didn't talk every day, but the special place she had in my heart could never be removed.

All that to be said she had a long weekend and her husband let her fly to TN to visit me. She left her two little ones at home to spend time with me and my little ones....brave girl. I cannot forget to mention how awesome her husband Billy is to let her fly up here to see me and keep the kids while she is gone.....thank you so much Billy!!

It was a great weekend and I am so refreshed after having that time with her. I miss all my good FL friends and I hope you all know how special you are to me.

Kara, your the best....love you lots!!
