One great thing about Kara is that she is so laid back. On Friday the weather wasn't the best and I had to keep the boys entertained so she endured a fun outing to the park. Caden and Blake really warmed up to her though and each morning Caden would ask "where's Mrs Kara".
Saturday was the best day and I owe thanks to Jason for that. He watched the boys while we headed out for some shopping. I haven't been able to explore a lot and was able to visit some place I have been eyeing. We also went to the mall....believe it or not I have been here since August and hadn't been to the mall yet!! Of course I couldn't tell you how often I visit Target:) We shopped and even had our make-up done....truly a highlight for me....and to think I almost passed up the opportunity. I felt so girly and good when we were done.
Saturday night we headed in to Nashville with Jason and the boys to the Opry Mills mall and Gaylord Hotel for their Christmas decorations and lights. The boys enjoyed a boat ride through the lobby of the hotel and I have my eye on staying in the $3500 a night Suite.....jk!!! I look forward to exploring this area more in the future and hopefully visiting the Grand Ole Opry.
It was full weekend but lots of fun!
