Home Alone....AAHHHH!!
Believe it or not we are home alone. It was a wonderful Christmas in many ways and we were blessed in many ways, but most of all I was blessed when my mom offered to keep the boys for us after Christmas. It was very hard to decide to leave them in Florida to spend time with Grandparents, but the time was much needed on my end. Moms know what we need and when and believe me she is working hard! (as did mimi and papa when they helped out) I have missed them and look forward to having them home. I will say though that I have been very productive and it feels great. Jason and I returned home and unpacked the car (which by the way was full from bottom to top...Jason couldn't see out the back). We were very excited to bring home a cooler full of meat that will feed our family all year....whoo hoo!! I have organized, and unpacked final boxes, and organized some more, and visited with friends. We went over to a co-worker of Jason's on New Years Eve and it was nice to not have to worry about what the boys were into. On New Years day we went to another friends house and had a bonfire and played cards. Today I was almost a mom again because I kept the neighbors girls and that made me miss the boys even more. I know they are fine though because we asked Caden if he wanted to come home and he said "NO". Which by the way if you ask Caden where home is he will clearly tell you "rocky top TN"....thanks Papa.

I know exactly how that is to completely enjoy what you can get accomplished without the kids, but at the same time miss them terribly. Glad you guys had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New year!
Ohh, I'm jealous! Glad you are getting some time alone and so glad Christmas break was a good one too. I'm sure it was great being back with friends and family in FL.
Yaaayyyy for adult time! Hope y'all are sleeping in and enjoying adult conversation at meals. :-)
