With my parents leaving it is always nice to have something to look forward to. Some friends of ours, the Skrabut's, came over for lunch today. We met this family several years ago in Tallahassee at church and then Russell hired Jason on with TLC (the firm he works with now). The Skrabut family actually moved up here in 2005 but we stayed in touch and now Jason works for Russell again. All that said, Jana, Ashley, Mary, and David asked if they could bring lunch over for a carpet picnic for my Birthday. What a pleasant and welcomed surprise. I will admit I miss not having all my girlfriends around to celebrate with, but this was very nice!! We obviously couldn't picnic outside in the cold but we sat on the carpet with the blinds open and enjoyed it as the sun came in. It was wonderful lunch and the boys just loved having the company. Thank you so much to the Skrabut's for making me feel special. The boys have had a blast with the balloons and I am enjoying the fresh flowers.
