I know this looks like a little angel sleeping here. Ha! (although he can be very sweet). He has this habit of waking around 5 am....just a time where I am so afraid to let him cry it out because if he wakes Caden up then I have both of them to deal with. So, if I cannot get him to go back to sleep by just relocating the paci then off we go to my bed so I can hopefully sleep (don't judge). The trick is he will sometimes lie there very quiet and go to sleep, or he will hum, or he will try to stick his finger in my eye or up my nose, or he insists on being right next to me but if I touch him he kicks (so I move and he moves closer to me), or he flips and flops like a fish out of water. As you can tell only one option is what I hope for (the laying quiet and going back to sleep). This particular morning (and many others) he keeps me up until about 6 or 6:30 and then he will finally drift to sleep...if I do not breath wrong or move. Then I can only hope Caden will decide to sleep past 7!! I lucked up this morning, but the little stinker....or angel....decided he would then sleep until 8!! This NEVER happens!!! I woke that little boy up, but of course I had to get a picture first of how sweet he looked:)
Another little side of him that I better watch out for....is that little mischievous smile of his. He will grin at you and then intentionally do what he isn't supposed to. Today in the car I hear Caden start going crazy and screaming. This was all because Blake was touching Caden's toy. What made it funny was I then heard Blake in the back going "he,he,he"....he had this little chuckle like he knew. I had to laugh. He is full of himself!!

What a sweet picture and I totally don't blame you for doing whatever it takes to get him to go back to sleep. I would do the same. I think they learn the whole being annoying to their siblings thing from birth. Layton is only 1 and I think he already does things on purpose to irritate Mandy and Dallin. It's crazy!!
