Thank you Mimi and Papa!

The boys had a special treat today...a delayed Easter "basket" from Mimi and Papa. I will admit I had to use the box as bribery but it worked. I noticed it this morning on the porch when we were leaving to take Blake to the doctor. I didn't say anything to Caden until in the car and told him there was a special box at the house for him and Blake from Mimi and Papa and that if he was good at the doctors he could open it when we got home. (scold me but I was desperate to survive the doctors with one sick and one well child...I hate having to take both of them). Poor little Blake had 103.5 fever this morning and before the weekend I wanted to have him seen....good thing....he has an ear infection in both ears and croup (that is what worried me). I will say that it worked though and we got in and out with ease. Unfortunately by the time we got home Blake was fast asleep (slept through his diaper change) so I let Caden open his part and saved Blake's for him. Caden was thrilled. He went to bed at naptime a happy boy with two new "name" Cars. He really wanted to get into Blake's but I wouldn't let him....he told me "Blake would share". These packages are great for them and for mommy and daddy....I loved the PJ's and the new pair of jeans for Caden (how do little boys get holes in all of their jeans?)


After Blake's nap Caden was very eager for Blake to open his box. Sure he wanted to see what he could claim:) Mimi and Papa were smart though and sent the same thing for both boys. Needless to say both of the boys really enjoyed their special package.
