Riding in the car today and out of the blue Caden askes me "Mommy, why does Uncle Paul always go on adventures?" I had to smile at that. At first I said I don't know but he sure does doesn't he? I then told him that Uncle Paul is like a Doctor (figured that was the only way he could understand) and he goes as a soldier and helps people. Didn't really get many more questions after that so it must have been and acceptable answer!
We do miss Uncle Paul though and pray for him every night!! Both of the boys will often tell Ome (my mom) that they love her from here to Afghanistan....that to them is the ultimate since they know that Uncle Paul is far away and that is where he is.
We love you and miss you Uncle Paul!!
